A Look at Colours and Numbers in Handwriting Analysis
Graphology is the study of handwriting and how it relates to personality. It's not just about the size and shape of letters but also of the colour of ink used.
The colour of the ink people choose to write with is surprisingly revealing, just as the shape, size and form of numbers can show some interesting things about the writer. Those who like to write in black ink, for instance, are said to have an ambitious, go-getting personality. They aren't overly demonstrative in loving relationships but in business, they can get very intense when pursuing main aims.
Blues and Browns: Blue ink shows a more easy-going, friendly personality. There's lots of emotional warmth and a caring nature. Those who like to write with pale blues can be overly sensitive. They are more creatively inclined and don't generally go in for anything too physically demanding. Brown ink is also indication of an artistic or creative temperament. Creativity is mixed with practicality and these people can turn their dreams into reality.
Green, Red or Purple Ink: Green ink shows a love of nature. Those who choose this colour are analytical about their emotions and although they are quite friendly, they often prefer their own company.
Red and Purple ink suggests a person who likes to stand out from the crowd. Someone who gets very excited when things are going well and who likes to dramatize. Similarly, those who write the number six in a large, fancy way like to be noticed and admired. However, if the number six is small and unobtrusive, this person can be sensitive and easily hurt.
What Numbers in Handwriting Reveal
An elaborately written number one suggests someone who is confident and generally optimistic. A plain and clearly written number two shows practicality and reliability. If there is a lower loop, the writer is likely to be loving and sentimental. A rounded three shows a warm nature but if the three is pointed, this is the sign of a sharp mind and numerical ability. If the number four is left open, this is a person who is honest in all dealings but a closed number four shows secretiveness. A clearly written five indicates practicality and a tendency to let head rule heart. If, however, the five is retouched and has been gone over again, there may be some insecurity. A small six is indicative of a sensitive nature. A large number seven shows confidence. Thin loops in the number eight suggest a person who is lacking in creative ideas. The fuller the loop, the more artistic and the stronger the depth of emotions while the higher the loop on the number nine, the higher the writer's aspirations.
